Loving our uni and serving students in the name of Jesus

Prayer meeting

Prayer is a key aspect in Christian Union as Jesus commanded us to pray! We rely on God in prayer for everything. New Testament believers prayed and were given boldness by God to proclaim the gospel. We need to pray just as much! We are told in the bible that it is important to gather together in prayer, so this is why we hold our weekly prayer meetings.

Mark 11:24 “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

When? Every Wednesday at 1pm-2pm.

Where? Chaplaincy in Nuffield Centre.

Wednesday Quench

What is Quench?

Quench is a way that we outreach to the university students every week. We stand outside nightclubs in Guildhall Walk during term time or outside the Library at exam time with packets of donuts, cookies and bottles of water with CU labels on them, giving them away for free to show God's love to students and to start conversations with people about Jesus.

When? Wednesdays 10:30pm

Where? Third Space, Students Union
